Terms of Service
The baseline terms for using Afroplug. Event-specific and organiser terms may also apply.
About Afroplug
The legal entity operating Afroplug has not yet been configured for production. The client's legal contact details must be configured before production launch.
Commercial role
The client must confirm whether the Afroplug operator acts as principal seller, ticketing agent, marketplace/intermediary, disclosed agent of the organiser or another documented structure. The final customer contract wording must match that verified model.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure and use Afroplug lawfully. Access may be restricted where needed to protect users, the platform or legal compliance.
Events and tickets
Event listings are supplied by organisers. The event page and checkout should identify the relevant organiser where required by the final commercial model and disclose material ticket conditions. A ticket is a revocable credential for the stated event and must not be duplicated, tampered with or used fraudulently.
Payments and prices
Payment processing is provided by Stripe. Under the current implementation the customer total is the server-priced sum of selected tickets and no additional Afroplug booking fee is added during checkout. If the commercial model changes, all unavoidable charges must be disclosed in the price before purchase.
Refunds and changes
The Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Platform conduct
Do not misuse Afroplug, interfere with security, scrape protected data, impersonate others, manipulate promoter attribution, resell contrary to applicable terms, or upload unlawful or infringing content. The Acceptable Use Policy provides additional rules.
Intellectual property
Afroplug branding, software and original platform content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Organisers and users must have the rights necessary for content they upload or publish.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or material breach of applicable platform terms, subject to any rights that must be preserved by law or contract.
Additional role terms
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any caps, exclusions, indemnities or allocation of event-delivery liability must be reviewed against the client's operating model, insurance and consumer obligations before launch.
Governing law and jurisdiction
The governing-law and jurisdiction clause remains subject to client and solicitor confirmation.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be communicated where required. The version applying to a transaction is retained with the order's legal-acceptance record.
