Organiser Terms
Additional terms for people and businesses that create, publish and manage events through Afroplug.
Event responsibility
Organisers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and timely maintenance of event information, venue permissions, licences, age restrictions, capacity, ticket inventory and customer-facing event conditions.
Customer service
Organisers must provide reasonable event support, respond to material customer issues and supply Afroplug with accurate information needed for ticket fulfilment, event changes and customer communications.
Payments, fees and payouts
Organisers must complete required Stripe Connect identity/KYC steps. Platform fees, payout eligibility, timing, reserves/holds, promoter commission, refunds, disputes and chargebacks are governed by the verified commercial schedule for the organiser account and event.
Cancellations, changes and refunds
Organisers must notify Afroplug promptly of cancellations, postponements or material changes and cooperate with customer communications and refunds. The final contract must specify who bears event cancellation costs, refunds, platform fees and chargebacks.
Customer information
Customer information obtained through Afroplug may only be used for authorised event fulfilment, support and other lawful purposes. Organisers must not use attendee data for unrelated direct marketing without their own valid legal basis and any required consent.
Content and intellectual property
Organisers must own or have permission to use event names, descriptions, images, trademarks, venue content and other material supplied to Afroplug and must not upload unlawful or infringing content.
Fraud and prohibited events
Organisers must not publish unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent or unsafe events; manipulate inventory, sales or promoter attribution; misuse payments; or interfere with Afroplug security.
Taxes and records
Organisers remain responsible for their own tax, VAT, licences and accounting obligations unless the final written commercial agreement expressly allocates a responsibility differently.
Suspension and termination
Afroplug may restrict event sales, hold payouts or suspend organiser access where reasonably necessary for fraud/security, payment-provider restrictions, legal compliance or material breach. Final notice, reserve and termination rights require solicitor review.
Liability and indemnity
Any organiser indemnity, liability cap or allocation of responsibility for event delivery, injury, cancellation, venue operation or customer claims must match the verified commercial model, insurance position and applicable law and therefore requires solicitor approval.
