Promoters
Promoter Terms
Additional terms for referral links, attributable ticket sales, commissions and promoter payouts.
Attribution and qualifying sales
Commission is earned only on qualifying paid sales attributed under Afroplug's recorded referral rules and the applicable event attribution window. Self-referrals, artificial traffic, cookie/referral manipulation, duplicate orders and misleading attribution are prohibited.
Commission and reversals
Commission rates and any ticket targets/bonuses are shown for the relevant assignment or campaign. Refunds, chargebacks, fraud, cancelled orders and other reversed customer value may reduce, cancel or reverse related commission.
Payouts
Payout timing, eligibility, thresholds and identity/payment verification requirements are determined by the applicable campaign and platform rules. Promoters may need to complete Stripe Connect onboarding before transfers can be made.
Promotion standards
Promoters must market events accurately and lawfully, identify material restrictions where relevant, avoid spam or deceptive claims and must not imply rights, sponsorship or endorsements they do not have.
Afroplug and organiser branding
Brand assets may only be used for authorised event promotion and in accordance with current brand guidance. Rights to event imagery, artist names and third-party marks remain with their respective owners.
Tax
Promoters are responsible for determining and meeting their own tax and reporting obligations arising from commission income.
Suspension and termination
Afroplug may pause attribution, hold unpaid commission or terminate promoter access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abusive promotion, payment reversals or material breach. Final notice and forfeiture language requires solicitor review.
Terms version: 2026-09-24. Final commission, tax, payout, reversal and termination language requires client solicitor/accounting review.
